To improve pedestrian infrastructure and ensure road safety, Lima Expresa, a subsidiary of VINCI Highways and concessionaire of Vía de Evitamiento and Vía Expresa Línea Amarilla, keeps working to increase the lifespan and improve usability of its infrastructure with guardrails renovation and general maintenance of 18 pedestrian bridges. The investment exceeds S/ 6 million and reflects the company's commitment to the users and neighbors of the surrounding areas, as well as its determination to maintain its road infrastructure in optimal condition.

Bridge maintenance works at Vía de Evitamiento ended last month and included pedestrian bridges with high transitability of people such as Javier Prado, Ramiro Prialé and Primavera, among others.

Among the interventions are the change of railings and renovation of coating and paint. These improvements will ensure pedestrian safety at Vía de Evitamiento, resist continuous use and adverse weather conditions, thus ensuring its long-term durability. "We are focused on ensuring safety and comfort to all those who use our infrastructure. In this sense, improvement and maintenance of these 18 pedestrian bridges is a priority, understanding their crucial role in pedestrian mobility. And so, we improve the quality of the road infrastructure and reaffirm that our expressways help improve daily life and mobility", said Raúl Díaz, general manager of Lima Expresa.
