The road concessionaire Lima Expresa informs its customers and users of the southbound Via de Evitamiento that a multiple vehicle accident with material damage occurred at 10:00 am at the Primavera pedestrian bridge. The incident caused the closure of the road and has caused heavy congestion up to the Habich bridge, approximately eight kilometres of slow traffic.
Road rescue teams, Lima Expresa ambulance and Peruvian volunteer firefighters attended to the injured and have reopened the road, which had been closed for work to attend to the injured and tow vehicles.
